Stanford University - School of Education
Stanford, CA
Stanford University hired BCCI as general contractor to make significant seismic upgrades to this historic building located on its Central Campus. Built in 1937 from unreinforced masonry, structural steel and concrete, this four-story structure accommodates faculty and student offices, small classrooms, a library and an auditorium. A library within the building is simultaneously being renovated with infrastructure upgrades, mechanical and electrical upgrades and new finishes. This challenging retrofit and renovation project will preserve the historic quality of the building and allow for continued use by the School of Education.
