The design/build renovation of this high-end café and bakery required careful planning to include critical design elements and equipment as well as factor in store operations. For all three locations within the downtown area, major features include a mosaic wall, tile installations and unique Italian mural tiles throughout the retail area. For the 149 New Montgomery Street location, a full bakery was installed with walk in refrigerators, freezers, proofing ovens, gas ranges and a rotating rack oven. It also integrated radius shaped case goods that are reflected in the curved soffit lines above. The 300 California Street storefront features a combination of mahogany with ceramic tile wainscoting, and custom millwork. The work crew’s attention to detail and client satisfaction led to this successful project completion.
