AIA San Francisco Chapter
San Francisco, CA
BCCI collaborateded with the client, Quezada Architects and the subcontractor community to plan and construct an elegant and environmentally responsible space that serves the varied needs of the AIA. The redesign of the chapter’s headquarters consists of moveable gallery walls to provide useable, scalable space for community events, educational programs and member services. As a unique technology feature, state-of-the-art lighting controls were employed which allow for individual adjustment of each ceiling mounted light via handheld remote. Window shades automatically rise and fall based on astronomic settings to reduce glare and allow natural daylight in. This LEED-CI Gold certified project is a proud showcase to our local design community.
