BCCI was a critical team member for this two-building renovation project, expanding Intuit’s real estate footprint at its Mountain View campus. During preconstruction BCCI’s team worked closely with the Architect, MEP engineers and end users to implement green elements into the project plan and ensure that the creative design elements did not negatively impact construction costs. BCCI’s scope included complete demolition and build back comprised of new finishes, reuse of the existing mechanical equipment, re-zoning of the electrical and mechanical systems, and the addition of a local server room tied into a mission critical server room in an adjacent, occupied building. The planning and collaboration between BCCI, the entire client team, subcontractors, and facility personnel led to a flawless project delivery, on budget and on schedule, without disruption to Intuit’s business operations. The result is a creative, efficient, and sustainable environment for its employees. The project recently achieved LEED CI Certification from the USGBC.
